HISPANOMAGNO

Take a Tour

.

It's a good idea to take a tour of this magazine; it will give you a feeling of its contents and how we treat subjects herein. This is a magazine upholding Christian values within the background of the Caribbean Hispanic Culture. We have strived to make it a balanced publication, with articles covering a wide spectrum of subjects, ranging from: Hispanic literature critic, short stories, Caribbean history, non-partisan politics, religion essays, humor and Caribbean music.

We have divided the magazine in two main sections: General Index (Indice General) and Monthly Index (En esta Edicción). The General Index is all about fixed sections, rarely changing; like: “Caribbean Music”, and “A Trip to my Town”, a pictorial essay on towns of Puerto Rico, changing every now and then; “Faces of the Caribbean”, again another pictorial essay on the people who have become member of the magazine( Free- with rights to interrelate whit certain sections); “Links of interest”; “Polls” and “Surveys”; “Bulleting Board”; and “Blogs of the Caribbean”.

“En Esta Edición” or “In This Edition”, covers those articles or sections that are changed every two to three months. We have posted and you can found now: The history of who paid for Christopher Columbus first trip to America; The story of the Voyagers who arrived before Columbus in the New World (already translated to English); an Essay on the difference between the National Republican Party and National Democratic Party; an essay on how the National USA., parties have affected the development of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; an Essay on the Hispano American War precedents; The Autonomic Charter given by Spain to Puerto Rico prior to the Hispano American War which we believe rendered illegal the American occupation of Puerto Rico; there are a number of short stories, synopsis of four Hispanic Caribbean Novels; Essay on the Earth quake in Haiti and Pat Robertson’s comments for Voodoo as God’s reason for punishing that country and an essay on Marie Cessette Dumas, Alexander Dumas mulato grand mother.

The pictures and graphics alone would be a reason to take the tour. So… by all means go ahead and take a look. Start in "Fotos" ( Photos) you'll find a colection of Photos from the Caribben, worth seeying; then go to "Quienes Somos ( Who We Are), to get a feeling of us.
