We are you…our past and our future. We are the Caribbean people. We look from the distance; what we have been, suffered and accomplished. We vail ourselves in the mist of the Caribbean Sea, adorned with emerald’s green, bathed in aquamarine. We taste of mangos, molasses, hearing the bongos and the maracas. Sometimes dressed in Damascus fine linen, yet other in cotton jeans... even bare footed. We serenade you with our bolero, danza, meringue or salsa. They say we smell of tobacco, coffe, and sometimes of sea spray. At night of gardenias, and Alelies, yet…we are the jibaro…the man in the mountains, seashore and the cities. To that tune we dance and we invite you… come and join us, be our guest in our palm thatched bungalow.

We are located in San Juan; a private literary-Historical oriented free magazine; and woul like very much your participation. You can reach me at: rafinrmena@gmail.com or if you like, go to: "Hazte Miembro" in the magazin's main bar: (Become a Member). What this mean is very simple: you would be able to interact wit us through a number of pages herein. Let me know what are the things you would like to see here and what are the articles you have enjoyed the most.

Well...I hope to hear from you real soon.
